Clearly it is bell's palsy. Half of his face has no facial expression and not just the eye. He will be okay in 2 to 4 weeks specially with the help of facial exercise and facial muscle stimulation. It is a temporary paralysis. He needs to use an eye patch to prevent drying of his eye. It is not contagious, he can play basketball.

I think it was ether game two or right at the end of game 1 that he was in agony with his eye bothering him. On the sideline you can see that medical staff put something like super glue on and ever since then I have not seen him blinking. That must be some crazy type of glue he has there.

After looking closely at lots of film I've noticed that Embiid has unusually small balls for a 7 foot 280 guy. He also appears to be clinically full of fecal matter. I've also noticed he can't stop talking about himself while at the same time trashing other players. An obvious case of Chronic Shrunken Testes Full of Sh-it Narcissism Syndrome. Sadly there is currently no cure for this condition.
